SADS Favorite Daylily Votes in the 2017 AHS Popularity Poll

Late in 2017, American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) members were asked to vote in the AHS Popularity Poll for their favorite daylilies. By "favorite", the understanding is a daylily that consistently performs well and is recommended to others in the region. Each member can vote for up to ten daylilies.

The San Antonio Daylily Society belongs to Region 6, which includes AHS daylily clubs in Texas and New Mexico.

The results of the AHS popularity poll voting from all of its members nationwide are grouped by region and will be announced in 2018 by AHS.

Those SADS members who voted in the poll SADS were asked to provide their votes so that the club could compile a list of the daylilies the club members recommend. The votes submitted were compiled to create a list of recommended favorite daylilies.

ORANGE VELVET

ORANGE VELVET continues to be a top favorite among SADS members as it was mentioned four times.

BIG DOC

BIG DOC came in second with three votes.

VARIOUS OTHERS

CURIOUS GEORGE, ELIZABETH SALTER, FESTIVE FALL, GENEVA ROCKIN ROBIN, JULIE NEWMAR, LIME PAINTED LADY, MING PORCELAIN, RED VOLUNTEER, SCARLET ORBIT, SILOAM DOUBLE CLASSIC and WITCHES WINK each received two votes.

There are of course many daylilies that SADS can recommend, but based on the popularity poll voting, the following are recommended by some SADS members.
